Clark County residents can tape free video greetings to loved ones overseas

Any Clark County, Ill., resident may send a free online greeting to their Clark County loved one serving overseas or to all the troops serving our county.
Community residents can tape a brief video greeting that will air 24 hours a day, seven days a week, worldwide on clarkcountynow.com during the upcoming holiday season.
The project is made possible by local businesses and organizations, including Casey Clinic, City of Marshall, Ellis Electric, Rep. Roger Eddy, Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn and Marathon Pipeline LLC.
A percentage of the sponsorship investments are donated to the area’s military support group. Any Clark County business or organization interested in supporting the project may call (217) 826-5422.
Taping opportunities include:
n Thursday — 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Martinsville Public Library
n Nov. 17 — 5 to 6 p.m., Casey City Hall (plus a few minutes after the end of the City Council meeting)
n Nov. 20 – 6:30-7:30 p.m., Marshall Public Library
Those who cannot make the taping time scheduled in their community can participate at another location.
