Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Andrew R. Saeger has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
Saeger is the son of Leah Lynch of Solsberry.
Air Force Airman Josiah D. Schunk has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
Schunk is the son and stepson of Brenda and Jim Schaffer of rural Newberry and a 2007 graduate of White River Valley High School in Switz City.
Army Reserve Pvt. Adam K. Baughman has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.
Baughman is the son and stepson of Dolly and Jeff Gentry of Linton.
Army National Guard Pvt. Jason M. Bedwell has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla.
Bedwell is a 1998 graduate of Linton Stockton High School in Linton.

Army Reserve Pvt. Cory L. Willett has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.
He is the son of Bruce and Tara Willett of Cloverdale and attends Eminence High School.

Army Reserve Pvt. Shadrach E. Cross has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.
He is the son of Richard Cross of Cayuga and Bridgett Maple of Armstrong, Ill.
