Mr. and Mrs. Randall H. Adams observed their 30th wedding anniversary June 9, 2009.
Their children hosted a surprise party on May 23 in the Joseph A. Bray Marine Corps League Ballroom.
The couple were married June 9, 1979, in Emmanuel United Methodist Church at West Terre Haute. Mrs. Adams, the former Jacqueline Daugherty, is the cafeteria manager at West Vigo Elementary School. Adams was a driver for CAT Trucking in Terre Haute and Lynn Trucking in Plainfield and was a salesman for Speedway International in Terre Haute prior to becoming disabled.
The couple have two children, Jamie Adams-Couch and husband Brian of Marshall, Ill., and Christopher Adams of West Terre Haute.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Watson will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 11, 2009.
They will celebrate with family and friends on Friday in the Terre Haute Holiday Inn.
The Watsons were married July 11, 1959, in the Methodist Church at Shelburn.
Mrs. Watson is the former Nancy Asbury.
The couple have two sons, Tony Watson and wife Krista, and Billy Watson and wife Rosie. They also have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
