Military Notes
The United States Coast Guard Academy announced that Caleb Wadsworth of Joshua, Texas, has been recognized for superior academic achievement and leadership potential. Wadsworth, who was home-schooled and then graduated from Calvary Christian Academy, has accepted an appointment to attend the Coast Guard Academy and will be sworn-in as a member of the Class of 2013 on June 29.
Wadsworth is the son of Mark and Judy Wadsworth and grandson of Garland and Betty Wadsworth of Terre Haute, and Claude and JoAnn Greene of Fort Worth, Texas.

Department of the Army civilian Robert M. Adams has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of recent service accomplishments. The certificate, granted by local commanders or other locally authorized individuals, is awarded to individuals when a monetary or higher-level honorary award is not appropriate.
Adams received the certificate for training the Taji Iraqi Army Support and Services to ride motorcycles while he was deployed at Camp Taji, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in March. He provided outstanding support in assisting the Transportation and Provision School, serving as a motorcycle adviser and trainer.
He is an Army Materiel Command project manger with the Chemical Materials Agency at the Newport Chemical Depot in Newport. Adams has six years of military service.
Adams is the son of Clyde R. Adams of Oakland, Miss., and the stepson of Dr. Robert Rogers of Starkville, Miss. He is the father of Brittany N. Adams of Huntertown and Laura M. Adams of Terre Haute.
Adams is a 1982 graduate of Starkville High School.

Airman 1st Class Chelsey Peters, a member of the 181st Intelligence Wing, recently completed basic military training and technical training for her new position at Hulman Field Air Guard Base.
Peters has been assigned to the 137th Intelligence Squadron as an imagery analyst. She attended technical training at Goodfellow Air Force Base, San Angelo, Texas.
Peters graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School in 2007.

Medley is a 2003 graduate from Sullivan High School.
