Scenes from Robin Hood adaptation, “The Untold Story of Little John” April 21 at Children’s Museum

TERRE HAUTE — We all know the story of Robin Hood, the man who robbed from the rich and gave to the poor and defeated the evil Sheriff of Nottingham, freeing his people from the tyrannical reign of Prince John. We also know how this could not have been accomplished without Little John, Robin Hood’s loyal side-kick who stayed by him through thick and thin. But do we know what happened next?

On Sunday, April 21, at 2 p.m., Terre Haute Children’s Museum guests will get to discover some of these answers as Crossroads Repertory Theatre presents local playwright Rachelle Martin Wilburn’s Robin Hood adaptation, “The Untold Story of Little John.”

Directed by Brandon Wentz, this imaginative recreation of the classic tale will dive into some of the untold stories and give museum guests a chance to see where Robin Hood, Little John, and Maid Marian go after the day is won.

The Crossroads Repertory Theatre performance of scenes from “The Untold Story of Little John” is free with museum admission. Admission to the museum, which is located at Eighth Street and Wabash Avenue in downtown Terre Haute, is $7 for adults and children, age 2 and older. Members of the museum and children under age 2 are admitted for free.
