PREP ROUNDUP: Linton wins at Sullivan in overtime

SULLIVAN — Sullivan missed the last shot of regulation time and was outscored by nine points at the foul line Saturday night, leading to a 60-55 overtime loss to visiting Linton in boys high school basketball.

Austin Karazsia had a game-high 22 points for the Miners in the battle of Class 2A powers, with Jackson Bohnert adding 14 points and Dess Fougerousse 11. Brooks Weszely led a balanced Sullivan attack with 12 points.

The Tigers trailed 50-38 going into the last quarter and cut the lead to three points with less than six minutes to play.

Landon Larrance led Paris with 17 points, while Riley Spencer had 10 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks.

• North seventh — At Bloomington, Tyler Gilmore beat the two top-seeded wrestlers in his class to win an individual championship as Terre Haute North placed seventh in the Bo Henry Holiday Classic.

Gilmore, now 15-1, beat top-seeded Tom Witte of Castle in the semifinals and pinned No. 2 seed J.R. Wallis of Princeton in the championship match at 152 pounds. At 170, North’s Ryan Moshak beat second-seeded Dillon Wagner of Jasper in the semifinals and is now 13-3 for the year.
