Padget, Terre Haute South swim teams enjoy big day at Wabash Valley Classic

TERRE HAUTE — Grace Padget of Terre Haute South set a school record in the 50-yard backstroke to lead off the 200-yard medley relay for the Braves, who won the six-team Wabash Valley Classic high school swimming competition Saturday.

Padget also won the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke.

The South boys were dominant in winning the meet. Dalton Mitchell won the 200 individual medley and the 100 freestyle for the Braves.
