PREP ROUNDUP: Rockville picks up 66-59 WRC victory in overtime

ROCKVILLE — Rockville picked up an overtime Wabash River Conference win at home against North Vermillion, defeating the Falcons 66-59 behind Kyle Paddock’s 13 points in boys high school basketball Friday.

Keiontre’ Wilkey added 12 for the Rox.

Cody Wright had a game-high 21 points for North Vermillion.

Hutsonville’s high scorer was Graham Alspach with seven points.

• North postponed — Terre Haute North’s game today at Bedford North Lawrence has been postponed because of weather conditions in Lawrence County.

No makeup date has been announced.

• Casey 77, Lawrenceville 70 — At Lawrenceville, Ill., the host Indians took Brandon Wolfe out of the Casey offense in the second quarter, but the Warriors used that period to take the lead Thursday night.

Wolfe had a game-high 27 but none in the second period, when the visitors overcame a first-quarter deficit. Zack Murphy had nine of his 18 points in the second quarter for Casey, and Sam Huisinga and Trey Thompson added 12 each.
