Prep roundup: Northview wins 28th volleyball match

PLAINFIELD — Northview picked up its 28th volleyball win of the high school volleyball season and got to see a potential sectional opponent in the process Thursday night, beating host Plainfield.

Highlights
— For Northview, Brylie Riddell had 11 kills, 6 digs, 5 blocks and 4 aces; Taylor Hess 17 assists and 3 digs; Madison McDonald 14 assists, 4 kills and 3 digs; Shelbi Morris 11 kills and 6 aces; McKenzi Kumpf 9 kills, 3 digs and 5 aces; and Audrey Clark 11 digs.

JV — Northview won 20-25, 25-18, 15-8.

Next — Northview (28-5) plays Martinsville at 6 p.m. next Thursday in the first match of the Class 4A Plainfield Sectional.

Vincennes Lincoln 3, Sullivan 0 — At Sullivan, Jaleigh Gilham had 23 digs in a losing cause for the Golden Arrows.

Riverton Parke 3, Greencastle 0 — At Greencastle, every game was close but the visiting Panthers reached the 25-victory mark.
