TERRE HAUTE — Three Rose-Hulman student-athletes were honored by the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference on Monday, with two of them also named Terre Haute Exchange Club Players of the Week.

Honored at today’s Exchange Club luncheon at Holiday Inn will be quarterback Ryan Landwehr and tennis player Suzana Mohd. Landwehr is the HCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week, Mohd the women’s tennis Player of the Week and Peem Chanrotchanaphan the women’s golf Player of the Week.

Chanrotchanaphan earned second-team all-tournament recognition at the DePauw Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, placing ninth in a field that featured three nationally ranked teams in Washington University, Wittenberg and DePauw. Her performance included rounds of 80 on Saturday and 83 on Sunday.

Landwehr had three touchdown passes and ran for two more scores in Rose’s 44-30 HCAC win at Manchester, while Mohd improved to 5-2 in singles and 3-4 in doubles by earning wins at both spots in Engineer victories over Manchester and Franklin.

Rose-Hulman’s football team, 2-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play, hosts Hanover on Saturday. The women's golf team travels to Franklin on Sunday and the women’s tennis team, 4-1 and 3-1 in the HCAC, host Earlham on Wednesday.
