Indiana State women take a 31-13 lead into halftime. Munn and Mahan led ISU with seve points — and senior Taylor Whitley four to put her at 999 for her career — but ISU's defense is still the story.

Indiana State held Drake without a field goal for the final five minutes, 43 seconds of the first half to take command of a Missouri Valley Conference matchup.

The Sycamores held the Bulldogs to 4-of-23 field-goal shooting, while forcing 19 Bulldogs' turnovers.

Indiana State turned it over 14 times themselves — the team's worst half of Valley play in that regard — but ISU managed to shoot 10-of-23 from the field. Anna Munn hit her first two shots from the field, and Racheal Mahan connected on her first five free-throw attempts.

Munn and Mahan each had seven points, while Natasha Zurek chipped in six points off the bench.

Laramie and Munn led the Sycamores on the glass with five rebounds each. ISU is the top team in the Valley in rebounding margin at +4.8 during MVC play.

Between that statistic and ranking No. 2 in turnover margin, it's no surprise the Sycamores are having success.
