Christopher, Welker compete at Indiana Women's Open

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State golfer McCall Christopher tied for 38th place with her 161 and Rachel Welker of Terre Haute ended up with a 165 in the Indiana Women’s Open, which concluded Thursday at Purgatory Golf Club.

Kristi Cardwell, the defending champion from Kokomo, won the title again. She posted rounds of 67 and 70 to finish with a 7-under-par 137 score, seven shots better than runner-up Jenna Haque.
