Metro sports: Pounds among winners at Crossroads Dragway

Ron Pound was one of the winners in Crossroads Dragway racing on Saturday.

Pound won the CRD 500 ET Points race, defeating Kevin Adams in the super pro race. Other winners were Dustin Brenton and Kenny James on Saturday and Joey Moore on Friday.

Fun Night and Pink Ladies racing are this Friday with regular racing and Fast 33 at the 330 race on Saturday with time runs at 12:30 p.m.

• Ballou posts win — At Haubstadt, Robert Ballou won a Midwest Sprint Car Series feature Saturday night at Tri-State Speedway.

Ballou won his heat and the feature for sprint cars. Darren Hagen won the feature for midgets.
