• Warriors go 1-3 — At Dieterich, Ill., the Casey girls team won one of four games at the Dieterich Tournament.

Casey lost 53-47 in its opener against the host team, although Kyleigh Decker had 24 points; beat Oblong 42-40 as Decker had 20 and Taylor Birchfield had 13 for Casey and Emily Lockhart 17 for the Panthers; lost 57-31 to Newton, Decker scoring 11; and lost 60-56 to North Clay despite 17 points by Decker, 16 by Birchfield and 12 by Jetta Green.

Now 7-10 for the year, Casey hosts Marshall in a Senior Night game on Thursday.

— At Cayuga, Westville (Ill.) won the five-team North Vermillion Christmas Tournament last week, downing the host Falcons 42-36 in what proved to be the championship match.
