TERRE HAUTE — Indiana State’s women’s basketball team will be a little deeper on Wednesday when the Sycamores play at East Tennessee State.

With the completion of the fall semester and academic grades processed, junior guard Stephanie Wittman and junior forward Chelsea Small are now eligible for competition. Both Wittman and Small were required to sit out the fall semester.

Wittman is a transfer from Kansas State, where she spent two seasons (2010-12) with the Wildcats. Small is a transfer from American University, having also spent a season (2012-13) with the Eagles and two seasons at Hutchinson Community College. Both are eligible for the remainder of 2013-14 and the 2014-15 seasons.

Both have been practicing with the team since enrolling at the middle of the last academic year.

ISU is 3-4 heading into Wednesday’s game, with the host Pirates 2-6.
