Preps: All Vigo County athletic events for Saturday postponed

TERRE HAUTE — All Vigo County athletic events scheduled for today have been postponed.

Several boys basketball games scheduled for Friday night were also postponed.

A Little Illini Conference battle between Flora and Marshall was rescheduled for Feb. 4. The Lions also rescheduled an earlier postponed game against Palestine-Hutsonville for Feb. 11.

Casey’s game against Sullivan was postponed, as was Paris’ game against Mount Zion.

Boys basketball

• Riverton Parke 42, Turkey Run 38 — At Mecca, Kole Sanders fired in 10 points as the host Panthers rallied in the fourth quarter to win this Wabash River Conference matchup.

Turkey Run’s leading scorers were Dewey Ashley, Jake Ferguson and Jake Amstutz with eight points apiece.
