North girls win at Sullivan

SULLIVAN — Layne Curley and Sierra Sykes paced Terre Haute North to a a 67-52 victory over Sullivan in girls high school basketball Thursday by scoring 18 and 17 points respectively.

Praxton Granda pitched in with a career-high 13 points for the Patriots. Sykes’ total also represented a career high.

Kaiti Basinger tallied 12 points, while Kyndle McDonald and Ashley Durall had 11 and Jenni Wilkes added 10 for Sullivan.

North Central’s top scorer was Katelyn Kennedy with 12 points.
