The Indianapolis Colts have waived former Terre Haute North and Indiana State tight end Jamie Petrowski. Indianapolis made the move in order to make room for ex-Green Bay and Pittsburgh running back Najeh Davenport.
Due to injuries to Joseph Addai (shoulder) and Chad Simpson (ankle), Dominic Rhodes was the only healthy running back remaining on the team's active roster. Davenport, who attended the University of Miami, has played in four games this season with the Steelers. He was originally a fourth-round draft pick by Green Bay in 2002.
Petrowski has been signed off the Tennessee Titans' practice squad three weeks ago to Indianapolis' active roster. He had been a game-day inactive for games with San Diego, Cleveland and Cincinnati.
