Woodrow Wilson students collect funds for animals

---- — The leadership team from Woodrow Wilson Middle School sponsored a week of giving to collect funds and supplies for the Terre Haute Humane shelter.

Woodrow Wilson students could donate pet food, pet supplies or money for the cause.

Each grade competed to bring in the most items, and the winning advisory class for each grade level received juice, donuts and/or a healthy snack.

A truckload of pet food and pet supplies were delivered to the humane shelter on May 2. In addition to the supplies, the students donated $150.
