Child center offers free, reduced-price meal program


News Release

TERRE HAUTE — The Union Hospital Child Develpment Center announced sponsorship of the Child and Adult Care Food Program and its policy for free and reduced-price meals for enrolled children meeting the approved eligibility criteria.

Children from households whose income is at or below the levels in the USDA may be eligible for free or reduced-price meals or supplements (snacks).

Children who are members of TANF assistance units or food stamp households, are Head Start participants or are foster children are automatically eligible to receive free meal benefits.

Application forms are being sent and given to parents and guardians of enrolled children.
