The Parke Adult Tutoring Service has awarded a mini-grant of $270 to Riverton Parke English teacher Mike Lunsford to purchase reading materials for his students.
Lunsford will spend his grant to complete a set of classroom books, buy a complete set of new books and add to his large in-room library.
“We may live in a technology-based world, but my students still like to read books,” Lunsford said.
