CHANCES for Indiana Youth offers free after-school programing to all elementary students while school is in session.
The School’s Out Club runs from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Booker T. Washington Community Center at 13th Street and College Avenue in Terre Haute.
The staff assists students with homework and provides recreational opportunities. The program now offers free dinners to all attending children. Educational and social activities include Money Matters, Girl Scouts and Fit Kids.
Registration is free, and enrollment packets are available at the Community Center. This program is made possible by a grant funded by the United Way.
