Goals, Pride and Achievements: Nov. 4, 2009

Emilee Roberts attended Hoosier Girls State, conducted by the Indiana Department of the American Legion Auxiliary, in June on the campus of Indiana State University.

She participated in a program designed to educate young women of Indiana in the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of citizenship. It was a week of living and learning the political system through a mythical city, county and state.

Roberts was elected Baker City Chairman of the Federalist Party and was appointed Baker City Smile Police. She also participated as the Flag Ceremony Pledge Leader. At the Honors Day program on the final day of the program, she received the Good Citizen Award of Baker City.

She is the daughter of Loree Roberts of West Terre Haute and the late Samuel Roberts. She attends West Vigo High School.
