South freshman win media award

— Terre Haute South Vigo High School freshman Colin Boggs recently received a “First Division Award” in the 2008 Indiana Student Media Fair sponsored by the Association of Indiana Media Educators.
Colin received high marks from the judges on his project “Colin’s Arcade.” He earned a perfect score for his use of graphics, effectiveness and project development. One of the judges commented that the project was, “Very entertaining. We enjoyed participating, particularly we enjoyed the ‘silly stories’.”
Projects were scored in category and grade level.
Colin and the other first place winners had a Celebration Day on April 19 at Pike High School in Indianapolis. There they received their medals and ribbons.
