Rex get another win

Danville, Ill. — Conor Fisk pitched eight dominant innings for the Terre Haute Rex, leading the team to a 7-3 victory at Danville on Tuesday night.

Fisk allowed no runs and only one hit through eight innings before giving up an RBI double in the ninth. Fisk was charged with three runs in the ninth.

Joe Meggs led the Rex offense with three hits, and Koby Kraemer went 2 for 4 with three RBIs.

The Rex took a 5-0 lead by the third inning.

The victory put the Rex at a record of 14-11 in the first half of the Prospect League baseball season. The Rex finished four games behind the Quincy Gems in the West Division.
