TERRE HAUTE — St. Mary-of-the-Woods Village

St. Mary-of -the-Woods Village Church invites you to join us for liturgy Sunday at 9 a.m. Sunday morning religious education classes are almost ready to begin again. Now is the time to register your children for the new school year.

If you are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith or exploring membership in the Catholic Church contact Sr. Joan Slobig, S.P. for information about the RCIA, Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults at the parish office. St. Patrick Church

Fr. Rick Ginther, Pastor and St. Patrick parish community, 1807 Poplar St., invite you to weekend liturgy on Saturday at 6 pm or Sunday at 9 a.m. You are also welcome to join us for weekday Mass on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 8:15 a.m.  

Spending time in meditation, prayer, and adoration in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament is an excellent opportunity to experience grace in our lives. Located west of the Rectory behind the Catholic Charities offices, the Perpetual Adoration Chapel is visited by parishioners and members of other local Catholic communities. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You are most welcome to participate in this opportunity for silent meditation, prayer, and adoration.

Sunday morning Religious Education program will begin on Sept. 9 with our annual Kickoff Event. Plan to join us for breakfast, activity and a chance to meet our catechists for the year. Kickoff Event will be from 10:15 am to 11:30 am at Moran Center. Parents and families plan to join students for this special welcoming event. Sunday, Sept. 16 will be our first full day of religious education classes at St. Patrick for grades Pre-K through 8. Class time is 10:30 to 11:45 am.   

Our high school faith formation program will begin on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012. Classes are the Moran Center located at St. Patrick School on select Sunday from 5 - 6:30 pm. Youth Ministry Mass and Picnic is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 30 at Hawthorn Park, 4 - 7 p.m.

RCIA sessions are held weekly on Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. If interested or have questions, please call the parish office, 812-232-8518.
