Historic Allen Chapel’s annual barbecue dinner fundraiser is Saturday, April 13, in the Chapel at Third and Crawford streets. Serving will be from noon to 6 p.m. with a full-line of dinner, sandwiches, sides and desserts available. Chef Stephen Miller, formerly owner of the Black Skillet and now a caterer in Cincinnati, will again prepare the barbecue.
Dinner offerings include rib, chicken and fish, and sandwiches of chicken, pulled pork and fish. Prices for dinners, which include your choice of two sides, range from $6 to $10, and sandwiches from $5 to $7. Whole and 1/2 rib slabs and whole and 1/2 fried chicken will also be available.
Desserts are extra and include sweet potato and chess pie and baked goods. Pies can be purchased whole or by the slice.

The Chapel is accessible to all, and proceeds from the dinner will be used by the congregation for everyday maintenance.
