Sisters of Providence annual Sunday Brunch set for Aug. 5

TERRE HAUTE —

Providence Center, a ministry of the Sisters of Providence, will host its annual Sunday Brunch Live on Aug. 5, at St. Mary-of-the-Woods.

Diva Natalie of Mix FM 100.7 radio station in Terre Haute will broadcast live. The broadcast will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visitors will be able to enjoy Sunday brunch, which has been honored the past three years by the Tribune-Star’s Readers’ Choice Award. Brunch hours are 10:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

An added attraction is an annual used book sale. Hundreds of books across a wide range of interest levels will be available for purchase. The book sale runs Aug. 4-12 in Providence Center. Visitors also may tour the grounds, visit the shrine of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin in the Church of the Immaculate Conception or visit the alpacas.
