Providence Center Gift Shop plans moving sale

TERRE HAUTE — The Gift Shop at Providence Center, a ministry of the Sisters of Providence of St. Mary-of-the-Woods, is having a moving sale from Sunday to Dec. 15. During this time everything in The Gift Shop will be on sale with some items reduced as much as 75 percent.

A long-awaited children’s book about Saint Mother Theodore Guerin will also be unveiled and orders will be taken.

Because of the construction of the permanent shrine of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin and the renovation of Providence Center, The Gift Shop will be closed after the sale ends, beginning Dec. 16, through the end of the year. The Gift Shop will reopen Jan. 6 in its new temporary location on the first floor of Owens Hall with similar shopping hours. Signage will lead prospective shoppers to the new locale.

Throughout the sale, The Gift Shop will be open its regular hours: Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
