Sisters of Providence offering retreat

Looking for some quiet time, a time for prayer, or reconnecting with what is important?

The Sisters of Providence will offer a personally directed retreat that begins at 3 p.m. Sept. 2 and continues until noon Sept. 8.

The retreat provides the opportunity for time away from the usual activity of life to be quiet, pray and reflect. The atmosphere of peacefulness and quiet allows participants to enter into a sustained silence in order to pray more deeply, listen more carefully and respond more fully to God’s movement within.

Each participant will meet daily with a spiritual director.

Cost is $400, which includes room and meals. Check-in is from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 2. For more information or to register call (812) 535-2932 or email rmorton@spsmw.org. Registration deadline is Aug. 27.
