Thanksgiving Sing Praise service set for Sunday

TERRE HAUTE — Members of many Wabash Valley churches will gather Sunday for a Thanksgiving Sing Praise service at St. Joseph University Parish at 113 S. Fifth St.

The event is from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and the community is invited.

Over the last five years, more than 80 churches have participated in the service; those attending will praise God through prayer, word and song.

This year, several choirs from Wabash Valley churches will share their musical gifts.

In addition to singing, those attending also will offer a blessing for area farmers in a year when the drought has brought them difficulties.
