---- — Church hosting dinner, auction

Armstrong United Methodist Church will host the 12th annual “Make It Bake It Grow It” dinner and an auction from 4 to 6:30 p.m. CDT April 6.

The meal will include homemade chicken or beef and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, hot roll, dessert and a drink.

The auction will follow. Items will be on display during dinner. Proceeds will benefit church kitchen improvements and community projects.

Free will donations will be accepted. For carry-out, call 217-826-2283. The church is located on U.S. 40, six miles east of Marshall, Ill.

CCM hosting Bible study class

Covenant Cooperative Ministry is offering “Jesus 101 Bible Study” at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays at the ministry, 122 S. 101⁄2 St.

The topics the informal group will address include “Is there a real God?,” “What is he like?,” “Who is Jesus Christ?,” “Can we believe the Bible?” and “How can I find God?”
