Marshall plans Christmas dinner

---- — Marshall First United Methodist Church is planning its annual Community Christmas Dinner for Dec. 25 in the church fellowship hall. Everyone who lives in the Marshall, Ill., area is welcome to attend the free dinner.

A traditional meal including turkey, stuffing and gravy, mashed potatoes, salads and pumpkin pie will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Transportation is available for those who need a ride to the dinner.

People can also make reservations in person from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at the church. Reservations must include name, number of people to attend, and if transportation is needed.

The church is at 702 Plum St, across from the post office.
