Berean Baptist
The 9:30 Bible Study Hour will feature Dick Triestram at the helm of the adult class meeting in the auditorium, Lauren Lopez leading the junior class and the Teen Inquirer’s Class leaving the church at 9:20 for Burger King for its class.
At 10:30, pastor Larry Lilly begins a series of sermons on the subject of prayer titled, “Prayer: Your Lifeline to God.” The sermon this week is titled, “Praying Gratefully” and stresses the spiritual importance of developing a thankful attitude in our prayer life. Nearly 50 years ago, the Indian Christian Bakht Singh said, “We who know the Lord in India feel sorry for you in America because of your spiritual poverty.” If churches have prayer meetings at all, they are the most sparsely attended services of all. This statistic must be reversed.
The Sounds of Victory and Charlie Davis will present special music. Dick and Judy Triestram will present a special illustrated gospel magic lesson for the Integrated Family Worship Time.
The 6 p.m. service will feature the first in a series of messages on the subject of “True Revival” by Lilly and other preachers serving Christ at Berean. This week’s sermon is presented by Lilly and titled, “Decisions for Revival.” Lilly will share the biblical definition of the term “revival” and briefly share what Jesus told a specific church about the subject.
John and Lauren Lopez will present special music.
The church is at 6770 N. Clinton St.
