Families by Choice plans celebration of the family table

— Families by Choice is planning a celebration of the family table 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 16 in Gilbert Park. FBC is proud to announce its first corporate sponsor for the event: Time Warner Cable.
“Time Warner has been with us from the beginning of Deborah’s House, our first program. They were our first corporate in-kind contributor.” says Muriel Ryan, executive director of FBC.
The event will feature music, food, a barbecue contest and information for families. Opening music, at 10:30 that day, will be Crystal Valley Quartet. Organizations, churches and businesses wishing to participate in this event to raise funds for themselves and Families by Choice should call (812) 230-4401 or e-mail familiesbychoice@hotmail.com to request registration materials by e-mail or regular mail. Fees for space are $25 for not-for-profits and $50 for businesses. Businesses and churches are encouraged to jointly apply for a booth at the lower cost of $25.
