At 10:30, pastor Larry Lilly will speak on the subject, “Healing for a Sick Heart.” This sermon is designed to help those who are so hurt on the inside that they can honestly say they are “heartsick.” Sickness of heart leads to depression, loss of courage, loss of will to go on, and numerous other maladies. Lilly will clearly state the symptoms, causes and cure for this life-threatening problem as he points to the Bible for answers.
Dick and Judy Triestram will present special gospel illustrations for Integrated Family Worship time. The Sounds of Victory, Judy Marsh and Mary Lou Bibb will present special music. Bibb will use a beautiful antique violin provided by Jim Shaw for her special.
At 6 p.m., Lilly will continue his series “Gleanings From Daniel” with this week’s sermon titled “Daniels New Touch.” Lilly will point that although Daniel was in his 80s and prevented from going back to rebuild Jerusalem, he was still able to be used by the Lord. Because of this touch by an angel, Daniel learned more about prayer than he had ever dreamed and he also learned more about himself than he had learned in 80-plus years. God is never finished teaching the willing heart.
The Lopez Family will present special music.
