Charlotte Murphy Travioli

Charlotte Murphy Travioli, 65, of Indianapolis, and formerly of Terre Haute, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, in Community East Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born Oct. 5, 1942, in Glen Alum, W.Va., to Troy Lee Murphy and Marjorie Kennedy Murphy. She married Lewis Travioli in 1961, and he preceded her in death. She was a mother and homemaker.

She is survived by her sons, Lonnie and Joshua Travioli, her daughter, Tamara Travioli, and a granddaughter, Destiny Rose Travioli, all of Indianapolis; two brothers, Ronnie Murphy and wife Dottie of Washington, Ind., and Monty Murphy and wife Connie of Williamstown, W.Va.; two sisters, Gwendolyn Blackburn of Matheny, W.Va., and Pamela Wooten of Pineville, W.Va.; as well as several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Lewis Travioli.

She was a member of Englewood Chapter 483 Order of the Eastern Star.

Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., in Terre Haute, with funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Abe Miller officiating. Burial is in Dunlap Cemetery in Dennision, Ill. The family asks that anyone wishing to make a charitable contribution in her honor do so to Shriner's Childrens’ Hospital or American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
