RONN MOTT: Terrible Teddy

---- — Wella, wella, wella … the big-mouth fella. Full of hot air and gas, much like where he’s from, not where he wants to be in that house of white and so great he’s going to be “out of sight.”

Oh, Teddy.  You couldn’t get your way so you tried to burn the house down, and the Senate, and the post office, and just about everything connected to the American government. Fortunately, there are a few people left in the Republican Party who have some brains. And they knew it wouldn’t be good for the country, or the beloved, Republican Party.

Teddy is Mr. Cruz, the junior senator from Texas. He’s only been in his elected seat a little under one year and, of course, like others from the Lone Star State, he believes himself to be a Messiah waiting to save this country. The only thing he is going to accomplish is big-mouth rhetoric and very little success. And the only ones wanting to elect him are even bigger fools than the Tea Party.

Teddy, go back to your Senate seat, learn how the government works and try to get more people elected who are as foolish as you. You see, that is how it works. It’s called democratic process, not big-mouth rhetoric waving the Confederate flag and complaining how tight your cowboy boots are. (I would guess it has been a long time since you sat a horse, and I doubt you could ride between Dallas and Ft. Worth without getting saddle sores and having to be helped on, and off, the horse.)

All of this injury to thousands of people, billions of dollars lost, making America the laughing stock of democratic process around the world, has been done for one reason only … to make this guy from Texas a loveable character to the Tea Party so he can be nominated for the presidency on the Republican ticket.

Hello, Texas, how can you not be ashamed of this blowhard nothing, drug-store cowboy, and would-be man who wants to be not only president, but king.

Even though I live in a state that wrecks the democratic process at every turn, I can’t wait to vote against this hot-air balloon of ridiculous, political ideology. And I will.
