---- — Horrible crime cries out for stern justice

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9, AV).

Evil walks among us. Some stories make you cry; some make you throw up. The story out of Greene County does both.

These animals should be put down as the mad dogs they are. Any psychobabblist or defense attorney who tries to blame their incomprehensibly depraved planning and actions on a “deprived childhood” or “insanity” should be put down with them.

“The voice of [Katelyn’s] blood crieth unto [God] from the ground.” (Genesis 4:10, adapted).

She deserves justice. Only an equally depraved “system” would deny it.

Confused about groups’ merger

Can someone help me to understand, please?

If Planned Parenthood of Indiana combines with Planned Parenthood of Kentucky, doesn’t that mean that my state (not federal) taxes that I pay to the State of Indiana will now be going to help Kentucky fund a non-governmental institution that the courts are forcing the State of Indiana to help fund? (You would be hard pressed to convince me that the courts are not forcing this funding when every time the State of Indiana cuts said funding, Planned Parenthood immediately goes to court to have said funding restored.)

The only reason that I can see for the merger of the two affiliates is because Kentucky needs the money from Indiana to expand their clinics. Excuse me, but let the State of Kentucky and the people of Kentucky expand their own clinics. I don’t want my money that the State of Indiana is forced to spend at Planned Parenthood going to Kentucky.

Leave Indiana money in Indiana to solve Indiana’s own problems and let Kentucky take care of itself.

Global warming fraud exposed

On June 4, Dr. Roy Spencer, principle research scientist at the University of Alabama-Huntsville and team leader for the Microwave Scanning Radiometer flying on NASA’s Aqua satellite, published a clear and graphic comparison of the world temperature projections of 73 climate models and actual observations taken since 1979.

In the 33 years of observations, the measured increase in world temperatures was a little more than 0.2 degrees. These observations were made by two very different observational systems (two satellite data sets and four radiosonde data sets) which coincidentally gave virtually identical trends. During that same period the average temperature increase predicted by the models was larger by a factor of 1.5 to 8.5. By any objective standard this represents an abject failure of these models which were used by Al Gore and his global-warming alarmists to cause untold concern and expense to the world. Also important is the fact that the satellite data shows that the measured temperature of the world has not increased during the last 16 years.

Dr. Spencer suspects that the discrepancy is caused by the model’s assumptions of a strong positive feedback from water vapor (an additional increase in temperature with warming) whereas, in fact, there is very little positive and possibly even negative feedback. Other details of the differences between the observations and the model projections support the conclusion that the models are deeply flawed.

This discrepancy between models and observations is not a new issue, just one that is becoming more glaring over time. However, the day of reckoning for the alarmists is long past. They have ignored this evidence for too many years and continued to push their political agenda of “climate control” through reduction of CO2. This has had an enormous impact on our energy production systems, the power of the EPA, the growth of vast government and “green” bureaucracies and even what is taught in our schools. Here in Indiana it is leading to the death of the coal industry with all the attendant impacts on the economy and workforce.

It’s time for definitive political action to ensure that no more time, money and effort are wasted on scrubbing of coal-fired plants, wind farms, solar panels, low emission care and fantasies like Blumberg’s wall around New York City.

Moreover, it’s time that Al Gore and his legions were held accountable for the fraud they have perpetrated on the world.
