T-S ignores common decency

Forget common sense, common decency, law of nature etc. I’m speaking out about this newspaper seeing fit to flaunt the depravity of same-sex marriage on the front page two days in a row. Showing two men on the verge of kissing and then two moms with their son? Pardon me.

Let’s not mention God or our Savior Jesus Christ. Let’s say they can’t help themselves, let’s say a child molester can’t help doing evil things.

The fall of the Roman Empire was caused by what this and other nations are condoning today.

This behavior is unnatural and indecent and has always sought vindication, and a sinful nation has capitulated.

God help us and our country.

Lighten up on Donald Sterling

And the saga continues, as Don Sterling vows to fight the NBA’s punitive action against his due process rights and proprietary interests as applied to the L.A. Clippers.

First, it was his girlfriend who ratted him out about racial remarks which he made last September in an illegal recording under California law. Next, his doctors double-crossed him by disclosing privacy-protected mental health evaluations for the legal purpose to declare him psychologically incapacitated as a means to lay the foundation for the sale of the L.A. Clippers. To make matters worse, his wife then subsequently sells the franchise without his consent.

Wow, talk about being surrounded by back-stabbing antagonists. As the Michael Corleone character said in Godfather II, “Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.” Sadly, Sterling most certainly failed to live by this ideology when dealing with those people closest to him.

In the aggregate context of Sterling’s racial remarks, his were far less pejorative than those made by black comedians on cable programming, including their prolific use of the n-word, which by the way, Sterling never uttered.

All I know, this entire Hollywood-style Don Sterling drama doesn’t even pass the basic “smell test.” Perhaps, the time has finally arrived to lighten up on this man now beset by failing health in his developed years.
