Donna Lynn Strahla Bown

TERRE HAUTE — Donna Lynn Strahla Bown passed away early Friday morning, Jan. 25, 2013, with her children by her side. She was born Sept. 39, 1957, and is preceded in death by her mother, Ladonna Strahla, who passed away in 2009.

Those who remain to treasure her memory include her husband, Larry; her son, Mike Bryan and his wife Lacey; two daughters, Anna Black and her husband John, and Lucy Chew; four grandchildren, Amelia Black, Willa Bryan, Ziggy Bryan, and one on the way.

Donna was known for her humor and undying optimism in the face of all that life threw at her. Family and Friends, and Facebook friends alike will all miss her company and her wit. She was a devoted mother and loving “Grandma Peach” to her grandchildren and she will continue to live on through them. To remember Donna, listen to an Elvis song or watch an episode of classic TV.

There will be a visitation only and a time to share stories and memories of Donna with family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute. Earth receives an honored guest, Donna Bown is laid to rest.
