Brent L. Crichfield

MARTINSVILLE, Ill. — MARTINSVILLE, Ind. — Brent L. Crichfield, 34, of Martinsville, and formerly of Linton, passed away at 9:44 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at Morgan County Hospital in Martinsville. He was born Nov. 4, 1978, in Terre Haute, to Carl Crichfield and Carolyn (Hensley) Crichfield.

Survivors include his wife, Stacy G. (Nicoson) Crichfield of Martinsville, whom he married on Oct. 18, 1997; daughters, Cassy Crichfield and Anna Lee Crichfield at home; mother and father, Carolyn and Carl Crichfield; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Sandy Crichfield of Terre Haute; nieces, Kayla Swafford and Shelby Crichfield; nephew, Cody Crichfield; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Shari and Gary Nicoson of Cory.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; and maternal grandparents.

Brent was a general manager for AAR Airline Mechanics in Indianapolis. He liked to hunt, fish, shoot and go mushroom hunting. Brent was an Iraqi War veteran serving in the U.S, Marine Corps.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 S. Meridian St., in Jasonville, with visitation scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral services are noon on Saturday, Aug. 24, at the funeral home, with Pastor Virgil Bland officiating. Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, with military graveside rites.
