PARIS, Ill. —
Bernice M. (Morris) Black, age 70, of Paris, Ill., passed away at 12:50 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at Union Hospital, in Terre Haute, Ind. Born May 28, 1943, in Paris, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Beulah (Campbell) Morris.
Bernice was a retired school bus driver for Crestwood Grade School after 28 years. She also worked along side her husband on the family farm. She was a member of Bell Ridge Christian Church and TOPS Illinois 2318. She enjoyed playing bingo and collecting bells.
She married Wayne E. Black in Paris in 1961 and he survives. Other survivors include their children, David (Lorrie) Black and Wendy (Steve) Campbell, all of Paris, and Rebecca (CJ) Jones of Blanford, Ind.; four grandchildren, Earl Black, Heather (Mark) Cartright, Erica (Matt Robison) Campbell, and Eric Campbell; five great-grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers and sisters.
Visitation for Bernice will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. CDT Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home, 303 E. Wood St., in Paris. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, in the funeral home, with Brother Kurt Speece officiating. Burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery. Memorial contributions
