TERRE HAUTE —
Marshall Van Ross, 59, of Terre Haute, passed away at 3 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, in Union Hospital’s emergency room. He was born Oct. 9, 1953, in Revelo, Ky. to Columbus Ross and Effie Davis Ross.
Survivors include two daughters, Tricia Jones and companion Jeremy Womack of Mooreland, and Kami Ridge and companion Mark Plunkett of Richmond; three brothers, George Ross and wife Anna of Muncie, Daniel Ross and wife Debbie of Lafayette, and Ken Ross of Grand Rapids, Mich.; three sisters, Faye Clagett and husband David of Hastings, Mich., Jewel Chavis, and Wanda Nederveld and husband Paul, all of Grand Rapids; four grandsons, Joshua Jones, Jacob Jones, Clint Ridge and Dilan Ridge; an aunt, Lois Douglas of Revelo; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Clyde, Stella, Russell, and Robert Ross; and a brother-in-law, James Chavis.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Saturday, in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute. Cremation has been scheduled after the services. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Saturday.
