William K. Vinco

CLINTON —  William K. Vinco, 68, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013, in his residence. He was born June 28, 1944, in Clinton, to William and Katherine Morini Vinco. He was retired from the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post 140 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 887.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother of Clinton; a son, Paul Vinco of Dunkirk; a daughter, Brooke and Andrew Dietz of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Julia Bergeron, Evan Bergeron and David Vinco; and a sister, Kay and Allen Smock of Jasper.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Frist Funeral Home, with the service to be at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Military honors will be performed by America Legion Post 140 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6653. Online condolences may be made at:
