CLAY CITY —
Claire M. Boggs, 31, of Clay City, passed away Oct. 24, 2013, at St. Vincent Clay Hospital. She was born Sept. 6, 1982. She was married to the love of her life, James L. Boggs, for 13 years. She was a graduate of Clay City High School.
Claire was a homemaker and a home health caregiver for her sister, Jacque and other clients from Putnam County Comprehensive Services. She had a heart of gold and had a special talent to show compassion and understanding of her clients special needs. She never met a stranger and anyone who spent any time with her couldn’t help but love her. Claire’s greatest passion was her husband and her children.
She was preceded in death by an infant boy, brother, Clint Amerman; and grandparents, Arthur and Elizabeth Briley, Verne and Irene Amerman.
Claire is survived by her husband; children, Zoey M. and Gavin R.J. Boggs; parents, Bob and Kathie Amerman; sister, Jacqueline Amerman; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the orange building at Goshorn Park. In lieu of flowers an account has been set up at Harris Bank for Zoey and Gavin.
