Connie Joann West

TERRE HAUTE — Connie Joann West, 59, of Terre Haute, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, in Regional Hospital. Connie was born Nov. 30, 1953, in Terre Haute, to Otis and Marjorie Warick Conklin. Connie was a homemaker and raised four wonderful children. She enjoyed camping with her family and had a very warm and loving heart. She always had a special place in her heart for her children and grandchildren.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Ernie, John, and Bill Hollis; and one sister, Norma Jean Milburn.  

She is survived by her husband, Robert West; two sons, Charles Norris and wife Robyn of Michigan, and Bobby West and significant other Cassie Robinson of Terre Haute; two daughters, Jessica Franco and husband Salvadore, and Paula West and significant other Alex Franco, both of Terre Haute; 12 grandchildren; a very special friend and best friend for life, Denise Edwards; as well as many other friends, family, and loved ones.  

A memorial service to celebrate Connie’s life will be Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at 6 p.m. at Oak Hill Community Church, Indiana 46, 2 miles east of Riley, with the Rev. Tim Fagg officiating. Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., in Terre Haute, was entrusted with arrangements. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Robert West to offset funeral expenses.
