Donna R. Clingerman, 71, of Blackhawk, passed away Sept. 30, 2013, in the emergency room at Union Hospital. She was born Nov. 15, 1941, to Charles and Ruby Taylor. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She touched many lives in many different ways.
Donna was a longtime and very active member of the Blackhawk Community Church, where she was on the prayer chain, a greeter, former Sunday school teacher, assistant choir director, and was responsible for maintaining the sign announcement board in front of the church. She also had been a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include her husband, Brent Clingerman, whom she married Nov. 23, 1960; daughter, Kimberly Clingerman; brother, Jack Taylor; grandson, Zachary Newbold; niece, Tami Bramel; and nephew, Kevin Taylor.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, with the Rev. Jeff Lee officiating. Calling is today from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, near Riley. Memorial contributions can be made to the Navajo Missions through Navajomissions.org.
