George lived his life to the fullest; he was truly a friend to everyone he knew and an endless giver of his time and talents. He loved to play golf, visit with family and friends, play games, square dance, cheer on the Green Bay Packers, hunt with his buddies, and travel.

George was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Beaver Dam, but attended First Baptist Church of Terre Haute, with his family throughout the past three years. He also was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, National Active & Retired Federal Employees Association, and Dodge County Masonic Lodge No. 72.

George is survived by his wife, Phyliss of Terre Haute; his daughter, Julie (Charles) Dugger of Terre Haute; his granddaughter, Madison Wagner of Terre Haute; and his stepgrandchildren, Nathan and Gwendolyn Dugger. He is further survived by several nephews; a niece; other relatives; and many friends.
