Bernard E. Forbeck Jr., 88, of Brazil, passed away at 6:15 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute on Jan. 28, 1925, to Bernard E. Forbeck Sr. and Floy M. Orman Forbeck. Bernard retired from Columbia Enamel as an electrician after 46 years of service.
He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Bryan and husband Wayne, and Rebecca J. Halstead and husband Harry; grandchildren, Tammy Jo Lindsay, Stephen Michael Pruitt, Johnie E. Bryan, Rodney W. Bryan, and Randall W. Bryan; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Margaret Ellen Donnenhoffer; a brother-in-law, Carl Little; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Little Forbeck; one son, Randall J. Forbeck; and by two sisters, Loretta Lynn Little and Mary Alice Lusk.
Funeral services will be held in DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at 1 p.m., with Father Bernie LaMontagne officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
